How to request the cancellation of a Contract?

If, for whatever reason, either party (agent, club owner) would like to cancel an active contract, they can make such a request to the other party. However, for the cancellation to take effect, both parties must agree.

Warning: You can only sign players during Transfer Windows. If you cancel a player's contract outside of a Transfer Window, you will not be able to re-sign them until the next window.

Here's how you can request the cancellation of a Contract:

As an Agent

Head to My HQ, then to the Player Contracts tab
Find the player whose contract you wish to have cancelled
In the Actions column, click on the three dots and select Request Cancellation

The POTENTIAL (POT) Attribute

POTENTIAL represents the highest possible OVERALL rating a player can achieve. Players with a higher POTENTIAL rating will be able to improve at a faster pace. The POT rating ranges from 0 to 99. In contrast to the core attributes, the rating allocated to POTENTIAL cannot change over time and is not visible to users. This makes it a hidden attribute that cannot truly be discovered by anyone.

Player development

Yes, players can improve, and even reach their potential provided their career goes well! Match results, individual performance, training, their teammates and opposition are all factors that will influence their development.

Competition Rewards

Club owners can enter their clubs in Competitions

The rewards managers receive from participating in competitions depend on two main factors:

Placement in the competition
Type and prestige of the competition

In Leagues, higher divisions offer better prizes. For Tournaments, the difficulty, size, and prestige significantly influence the rewards. You can view the rewards for competitions before entering them.

Earning from player contracts as an Agent

Thanks to Revenue Share, Agents can earn $MFL by signing the players in their agency to contracts with clubs.

How can I use my $MFL?

You can exchange your $MFL for Player Packs in the MFL Store

800 $MFL is the equivalent of $1 in value on the Store. Certain packs are purchasable only with $MFL, while others can only be bought in USD, or sometimes using both payment options, like during Drops.

About Positional Familiarity

Positional Familiarity gives managers complete freedom over their players’ positioning on the pitch… With a couple of exceptions:

Goalkeepers cannot occupy outfield positions
Outfield players cannot occupy the Goalkeeper position

Naturally, players will still deliver their best performances in their primary and secondary positions. However, when placed in unfamiliar roles, they will experience an adjustment in their attribute ratings, and their performance will be affected.

Positional Familiarity example

||| As you can see in the image, familiarity is based on the player’s primary position only. Positions adjacent to (or similar to) a player’s secondary position(s) are NOT considered.

Alfons Ackermann, a natural Right Winger (RW), will shine brightest in his primary role. Slide him into the Right Back (RB) slot — his secondary position, and he’ll still hold his ground, albeit with a very slight performance drop. But ask him to defend the heart of your line-up as a Centre Back (CB), and you’ll find his skills don’t translate as effectively at all.
